The Jewish Web Opinion

Jewish Rabbis are against the web why because they are afraid the Jewish children who have access to a computer have access to the web and will in the end see pictures of not fully dressed people on various websites so finally my opinion is if you are afraid you children will see not fully dressed people in pictures I have a simple solution there is a device called a filter use it or if you don't know how contact your local computer "Doctor".

That's not the only reason. That's one reason. Even with a filter though, there can be pop ups, especially with IE (Internet Explorer).
Other reasons are, the people you can meet are dangerous. People can lie about who they are, and trick you into thinking their someone else.
Don't ever give out any personal info, like address or phone number or anything else.
Like the person in lakewood who made believe he was a Jew and now he might be a goy, so you never know, even if people are Jewish.
Another thing with the internet, is like anything else it can be a waste of time, instead of doing Homework you would be on the computer.

dude......u got so much to learn. there is no such thing as computer filters. for every program there is, there are so many ways to get around them, and if someone has wrong intentions online, he will screw himself up regardless. now the internet can waste precious hours and hours for anybody, and u shouldnt be spending so much time online. really.

"Like the person in lakewood"

Like an under cover news reporter?

Or like the lady charged with fraud after triggering some girl's suicide by creating an online identity and perpetrating a feat of social engineering?

The internet is not the problem. The problem is the mindset of the user.
